Dr. Jacob Leone is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, and Medical Director of two successful private healthcare practices in the state of California. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Seattle University and went on to complete his medical training at Bastyr University. He has 10 years of experience practicing as an integrative doctor, and 7+ years as a specialist focused on complex chronic disease including Lyme disease, mold/mycotoxin treatment, immunotherapy, and detoxification. When he is not working with his patients, he works on developing new and innovative approaches to chronic disease treatment including formulating his own line of customized botanical therapies.
He holds certifications in IV therapy including chelation & nutrient therapy and is an active member of several professional organizations including the California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA), American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), and the International Lyme Disease Society (ILADS). Dr. Leone has been involved in several clinical research studies, investigating diverse topics as HCV, HIV, mental health, and diabetes.
Dr. Leone served on the faculty of the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine as part of their Core Faculty and has been a guest lecturer at the California Institute of Integral Studies, and UCSF Medical School. He also lectures educating other practitioners on Lyme disease including the importance of recognizing how to diagnose and treat it in early stages to prevent the debilitating late-stages of Lyme disease.
